Love the hard drive. Didnt like the software that came with it, but other than that its great. -- Love the hard drive

Its a great product, its portable, light, plus very nice design and shape of the device. Its has a exc transfer rate with computers running vista, windows 7 or linux.
Its not as good with computers running some versions of windows xp, because the operating system runs indexation of the entire drive so this takes a while, depending on how much data you have.
Overall it is all i expected, plus i like the colors. -- Everything you expected

This Toshiba 500 GB works great, just simply put the USB in and it will ask if you would like to install. you have the option of how you would like to install the external drive,from a back up drive or just extra memory or both. the drive is also thin, light, and small. which makes it great for carring it around for trips or business. its also fair price then most other drives. so if you looking for a good portable external hard drive i recommed this one. -- why to buy Toshiba external hard drive
